Logon Studio Problem

Alright, I have logonstudio,

I download logons and open them in the program. Then I try it out to see if it works. But it doesn't. Every logon I try gives me this picture.

Anyone that can help, I will be extremely grateful.

What logon is that you are using?  Link?

NVM...

Also, some logons return to the desktop after saying "parse error at line 45" or something like that.

Also, it won't even display the logon in the list once I click on it.

Looks like you got some vista crap mixed in there! I downloaded it and it works fine on my computer...... boring logon though!

I dunno if this affects anything, but...

I have this Vista Anthracite Theme Pack

It changes icons and stuff like that on the desktop...

me either

have been reading some of the posts at DA on this (various versions) - quite a few had issues with various parts

it comes with at least:

a uxtheme patcher
a code patch for icons
logonxp

- for which I found (under v1.2):

You are not going to get any raves from me about this pack. Logon Studio and all supporting boot skins do not work with this pack installed. I get parser line errors or the backgrounds on all the logon skins are messed up.

- under v1.31

Well, it looks like there were some problems with such third party programs like Icon Packager, Logon studio, etc.

Sure, fresh OS always works best, so, personally I prefer to keep the OS clean, just to prevent that.

Thank you for the 'glass effect issue', hope I will fix it in the next release.

Marry Christmas for all of you too:-)
And Happy New Year soon:-)

don't see a fix in the posts anywhere

not sure what else - I don't feel a need to download .exes for changing skins

so basically I should get rid of my vista theme pack

Try this....download a logon, rename the file from logon.logonxp to logon.zip.
Unzip the file and put the logon folder in C:\Program Files\Wincustomize\Logon Studio.

Then open Logon Studio. The file should be in the list and should work fine. If it doesn't, you have other problems not related to Logon Studio..very possibly the Vista theme pack.

I have uninstalled the vista pack...

now it still appears on my computer...

How can I delete this??

how do you rename from logon.xp to logon.zip?

right click on it and choose 'rename' - then change the extension to .zip
