f'ing boot problem again

I thought I had this solved last time. My winxp machine will not boot again thanks to that early version of stardock central. I'm getting increasingly PO'd trying to find the post Brad made with the easy steps as to which files to copy along with their full paths. Could some kind soul provide a link?
