I Think I Need a .DLL File - I have No User Login Menu and I have a Dropdown Menu for Restart Menu

Needed Possible DLL File or Fix for Customization Made A Year Ago

Hey there homies, About a year ago I was editing the login screen of my laptop [hp pavillion] and I was excited at the moment finding out that I could customize my login screen, I learned about WindowBlinds and Stardock products and all that good stuff but in the process I lost my login screen and the Windows XP restart menu, And possible more stuff. If i click REBOOT/RESTART I get a dropdown menu instead of that windows xp menu, here's a snapshot.

It looks similar like that for my Login screen as well.

Any help will be great.

Thank You very much.

This is just a thought...but try going into the control panel > user accounts > change the way users log on or off > and see if use the welcome screen is checked.

Wow, thanks.
Apparently it was a program blocking my access to this... Fixed Now.

Crap, I thought it was fixed but the only thing that has changed is the Restart Button and Task Manager. I still have no welcome screen even with the option enabled.

go back and enable fast user switching

Alright, It wasn't fast user switching but I got it to work by removing something else that shoulnd't of been on my computer, I tried fast user switching before looking at this post but everytime I clicked it and applied the setting it would always change back probably because there are no users except myself but I'm not sure..

Either way the problem is fixed, so thank you.

It's 50/50 whether it would've worked but holding F8 on reboot will bring up the DOS menu which includes safe mode or in your case "last known good config" which may have helped,if you ever get to do a system restore and you get the usual no changes choose another point, give this a go it'll save you pulling your hair out...lol...,it made system restore obsolete for me

Hello the problem is related to a .dll file you can access many .dll's directly from http://forums.dlsoftware.net and then click PC Repair Files. Hope it helps!

Hi, I'm having the same problem and I don't know how to fix it. It's kinda irritating. I can't use Logon Studio because of that.
Could someone tell me what to do?
Thx
