Seven Kingdoms: Conquest

This post will probably get no replies since no-one on Earth seems to have heard of the Seven Kingdoms series. But they were superb games. Seven Kingdoms, then there was the Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries standalone expansion. The came the sequel Seven Kingdoms 2: The Frythan Wars.
These games are true classics to me and on the 26th of this month Seven Kingdoms: Conquest should (theoretically) be released. Is anyone else looking forward to this game?

It will be different from the first two thats for sure, now that Steve "Warlords" Falkner is at the helm. There are seven human races and seven demon races to lead through the ages. Thats totally different from what Seven Kingdoms was before (but this is why its not called Seven Kingdoms 3). There should be plenty of the elements of the previous Seven Kingdoms games in there though.

I cannot wait although I have no idea how I'll order it since like I said no-one on earth seems to know anything much about it and I can't see Play.com stocking it. But still... great stuff.

I believe I once played a demo of the original Seven Kingdoms. This was the game where you had a town, and a king in a fortress, and could build buildings, and plant spies in the enemy town, and a whole bunch of other things? I loved that demo. I wish I knew where I found it. I tried to find the original Seven Kingdoms but didn't come up with anything. If they're bring out a new one, I might be interested in it. I loved that I didn't have to fight with soldiers to get things done. I could just infiltrate other's cities, and take over neutral cities by moving people in.

I love Seven Kingdoms!

The easy management of your empire and the unique control of your units make it a great game.

Population management, very "individual" units and very balanced concepts.
A very nice game indeed.
Seven Kingdoms 2 was ok-ish but sacrificed several of the strengths of the first instalment(Why did they need to double the unit number per castle? 9 units + general was one of the core concepts and strengths of the first part...).
