The USA made a mistake in Kosovo

Now we know how Muslim treat others from what they are doing in Iraq.

They did the same to Serbs in Kosovo. But western people think they should bomb Serbs instead of Kosovo Muslim terrorists.

The best way to solve Kosovo problem is to indict Bill Clinton and release Mr. Milosevic

Not only that, but let's face it: Milosevic was no threat to the United States of America. However, since Serbia had no oil, and therefore was of no use to France or Germany, nobody complained when we intervened in what could be considered a strictly-European affair.

Not that I don't think the U.S. shouldn't act like the police of the world, because honestly, I think we do a damn good job.

Please get your facts straight before posting.

Attrocities have been commited by both sides in teh break-up of Yugoslavia. Thousands of muslims have been massacred. in recent months the Kosovo muslims have indeed tried to force serbs from Kosovo but the peace keeping forces have been doing their best to stop it. While no such ethnic cleansing is acceptable, the scale tiny compared to what already happened to them in Bosnia. Please keep you anti-muslim racism to yourself.

The US was asked by Germany, France and the UK to intervene through Nato. In fact they were told that Germany, France and the UK were going to intervene anyway and the US was welcome to join or not. Considering the US doesn't want a seperate EU army but wants to keep Nato as the predominant force in the European theathre it's a bit rich to complain about them intervening. Germany actually had to change it's laws to allow it send troops, but that was how serious it saw the issue.

I'd rather not have U.S. soldiers die for a European problem that Europeans could easily fix themselves, even if it meant that they have their own army. No blood for European problems that Europeans could easily fix themselves!

I would be ver yhappy for Europeans to take some more responsibility and for an EU army for deployment abroard in peace keeping missions. This is exactly what France and Germany want to do but the US has strongly oppossed such a move as it believes it weakens Nato. THe new EU constitution will actually have articles in it to facilitate an EU army in the future if it is desired.
