Upload Problem

Hi,I'm trying to upload a new 256x256 png (zipped) to the ObjectDock icon gallery but each time I try I get the following message :
"Your skin has failed to upload. When uploading a new skin, your Skin file must also be submitted."
I'm doing nothing different to usual, the png is zipped and the preview is a jpeg, any ideas folks?

First suggestion might be whether the file name and preview name are both alpha-numeric....as being otherwise causes issues with uploads...

Thanks for the reply Jafo.
The zipped png is for uTorrent.I have tried naming it UTorrent,uTorrent,µTorrent but I still get the error message above.I uploaded some stuff yesterday no problem but I'm stumped now.

I've tried numerous names for this upload now and none work, there are only so many variations on the word utorrent lol.I don't understand why this is happening as I uploaded two new OD pngs (zipped) yesterday and both were accepted. Is there any other way to upload to the gallery?

Next theory...perhaps the zip is corrupted...or there's a cache issue with your renaming.

Remember...it's not the naming of the skin that can be an issue...it's the naming of the actual files uploaded...the zip and the jpg ....

Do you have a suggestion as to what I should name them? Seems a bit weird to make a utorrent png then rename it to something else.  I've been trying to upload this for a couple of hours now.

The png can be whatever it wants to be....it's in the zip anyway.

call the zip "uploadorelse.zip" without the quotes....

call the preview image "onemoretry.jpg" without quotes....

Call the skin name "uTorrent" without the quotes....

cross fingers...

and....

Yay,I was using Winrar as my zip handler,I changed to Winzip and viola! uploaded.Strange though as yesterday I used Winrar and it worked fine.
Anyway, thanks Jafo you got me motivated to sort it out.
Cheers.
