I am yet to play another ZYW or any game for that char as a matter of fact until i hear about the achievements. I don't want to keep chasing a medal that is broken or simply not there....

Spent some time on my Mumbler today. I have around 5K in ships and it is really starting to bother me, all the buying of ships...i just don't have enough patience. I might do a test upgrade soon and see where i am at. I would be happy with ~250K (remember i played it on crippling for some reason ;p) but my goal was 300K minimum.

Then i might see about cracking 300 games for centurion.

Yeah, I just barely finished a game where I was doing some of that. Was playing a huge map, all-abundant, except for hab-planets, which were common (my computer cant handle much more). At the high point I was making 355k net BC per turn, which is my best yet. Buying all those ships is really exceedingly tedious. My system cant handle the swarms of smaller ships, so I go with smaller numbers of larger ones. I felt like going into a coma from boredom!

If there was a "buy all" option for individual ship types, that would be really nice. You would just have to adjust the # of planets building them to suit your econ each turn, but at least not buy them all individually...bleah.

I can sympathize with you there. My last gigantic I was buying 250+ ships per turn at peak. Needless to say I was relieved when I finally reached my goal of having 17K of them.

I got one question for the ToE, if you are the most active empire in the galaxy how come you guys are not #1?

We consider ourselves more active on a per person basis than most any empire out there. We are still really just a small group compared to the hundreds that seem to flock to some false idols around here(You know who you are ). Alas, don't think we don't have a plan in place though . We're sneaky like that.

Any data when looked at in such a way to get the results you want, will produce those results. It all depends on what perspective you use. I have members submitting games every day for the Kzinti for at least the past 6 months, but I also I have a good number of inactive members who dont play anymore. Thats the way all the empires of any appreciable size are.

Activity does not just mean playing the game. Being active on the forums is as much apart of being active in our empire as submitting games....and not just this forum but our own private forums too.

I'm actually buying ~400 ships per turn at the moment and it is soo fraking boring....im at just over 5K and i'm not sure how far i wanna go, considering the upgrade issues we have seen.



No doubt that the Kzinti have far more active game players than the ToE. When i made the "most active empire" comment i see it from a point of view of ratio's. If you consider that the ToE has about 1/4 of the members of the Kzinti but we are still rather prominent that is not a bad effort.

That's certainly no slight on your achievements KP...if only you shaved your fur off and ate more souls instead of dead fish!!!;p

The ToE is definitely the most active on the forums. I think I currently submit more games personally than the entire ToE at this point though (yes Im taunting you Neilo) :LOL:  I worked hard to grab your #1 All-Time spot on the AltMeta...and I'm going to try to keep it! Going to get back in the game and give me a run for my money? That's always an entertaining duel. I know you can pump out the ZYWs super-quick.

I'm still trying to break Mag's ZYW record. Tied it twice and got close a half-dozen other times...

What a DUMBASS. And I don't care if you whine about this comment.(I may even have some cheese to go with it). I am not that active right now because of Real Life and the MVL.
But as others have put it, WE ARE A SMALL EMPIRE. Plus we are active at our own web site. The only thing I see about penquins, is that they are FODDER for Leopard seals, SO how does it feel to be PREY for both Galactic Empires and a legless mammal?

I'm not sure how you, Mag and Wyndstar can get so high a score in the ZYW's mate.....im at a bit of a loss for it actually, but as you say i can do a ZYW in under 5 mins so maybe i can gor for quantity instead.

I finally finished my gig abundant all, only shame is i played it on crippling when i should have played it on suicidal but nevertheless here it is....



I am now going to play with TA a bit more then do a huge abundant all on suicidal....
