Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

well you can also gain Senatorship by posting some high scores (or lots of games) or being very active and helping recruit more members

Anyone seen/heard from PlayJeff recently? I see he hasn't logged on for over 2 weeks. He's one of my Team D members who is currently AWOL.

Motti, please stop submitting games. I had surpassed you in the rankings for just one day til you leapt ahead again. It's annoying. ;)

Yes, he has been inactive recently. Though he does have a game that seems like it is for the current round.

i know the region he's from has been repeatedly hit by winter storms, and he does some form of construction/outdoor work; so I'm sure its a combination of internet services down, lack of free time, and the holidays.....at least that's my hope, and not anything worse. I hope we all hear from him soon.

I saw you pass me for a short time and then fall back without anything happening. I think some of your older games might have fallen off of the radar.

I'll be slowing down on game submissions as soon as I get through my current one. Got RL to take care of and some diabolical plans for the near future.  :HOT:  Of course, that means I can just say I let you pass me, right?  :LOL:

Glad to have you on board mate! Your all activated on our forums too. You will find that we are far more active there than on the GC2 site, so be sure to hang around a bit, the Torian ale is particularly tasty!

We do have a fair share of MVL players, be nice to have every MVL player have a character in the ToE..but thats just me wanting more members.

Anyway mate to the Tyranny, i think you'll fit right in.....just leave my Fembots alone!!!

Haven't we coma a long way. It is only been about 6 months since i started this empire and we have amassed over 600 posts!!

The HCH only has 404, the Hitchhikers have only 238 and the Orcas had only 411. Thats what makes us such a great empire, not only our evil skill and prowess but our activity, and consider all our posts on our forums to.

Now if only we could the rest of the community to see how active we are, we could knock off the establishment.

Ohh and that makes 47 ;)

Yes, the tyranny forums are down for now and have been for a couple of days. The entire eamped.com hosting service is down as well with a failure at the nameserver level.

Since the nameservers are down, that kills access to all forums including the support forums. Since they also host their own email, we can't contact them.

The last gasp for air that I can find there was a googlebot visit at the main web page on "Jan 9, 2008 23:03:01 GMT".

For those interested in keeping up with the progress (or lack thereof), the nameserver IP addys are...

64.22.123.21
and
64.22.123.22

We'll keep our evil eyes on it.

Yeah i also had no luck in learning anything either, i tried a few other forums that are hosted on eamped but they are also down....

Looks like for now we will have to use this thread.....Post 666 here we come!

Doubt it, actually. Those who would try a DOS or other atttack already know the addys. Or can get them as easily as I did. I can't imagine why it would be a target anyway.

That, and we're already as dead as we can be.

Of course, there's a lot that I don't understand when it comes to how script kiddies think.
