When Democrats do it, it's on merit... When Repubs...

... did it, it was all politically motivated

What a crock of foul stinky fecal matter.

Maryland Governor, Democrat, Martin O'Malley is practicing the same tactics that his GOP predecessor, former Gov. Robert Ehrlich, practiced -- that of replacing political appointees in various offices with those of his own choosing.  Nothing illegal about it.  Nothing really immoral about it.  Nothing that should have led to 13 months of witch hunt investigations by the Democratic controlled legislature in the state.  Except that when Ehrlich was in office, it did.  13 months of wasted money investigating why some people were fired when others weren't, when all serve at the whim of the Governor.

See article here: O'Malley firings criticized as political

Sorry, no clippings of the original materials here.  Take the time to read it yourself.  It summs up pretty much as I've said above, when Democrats do it, it's all because of merit or supposed lack there-of.  When Republicans do it, it was all politically motivated.  Or at least that is the story they will stick to.

Elie beat me to the national example.  Given that I was gone most of the weekend, and this has been sitting around, I find it hard to believe that none of the democrats are saying anything on this (how you are distorting the facts, etc.).  Guess some lies are just too hard to try to BS you way out of.
