Thanks zubaz but

we have C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\sdmcp.exe and i'm copied shurtcut to startup folder and restart to computer.

But now I can't see any icon in the system tray tab.

Does the system tray not work on OD Plus with non english windows ?

Did you reboot?
SDMCP hooks into the systray early in the boot process.  Without reboot . . nuthin.

Make sure you are running the latest OD. First gen versions did not have systray support for Vista. Only the latest v1.9 version does.

OD+ v1.9 does NOT need SDMCP, but ObjectBar and DesktopX DO. Turn it off (with SDC) if OD+ is the only app that you want tray icons for.

Same problem also here with OD 1.90, Win XP SP 2 French.
No icons in the system tray. Same problem as fellows above.
If problem has been corrected/solved/fixed through any manipulation, could you also post here so we won't all bother the stardock support.

Thanks!

CalimeroQueen (sorry guys french it's better to explain between frenchies )

Quentin, sorry but you are wrong, OD + 1.9 doesn't need neither Stardock Central nor SDMCP...
I'm using an object tray docklet by Melchior Moos to have a system tray while I wait to see if stardock solves my problem.

never said OD+ need SDC to run but i said that a clear install via SDC could solve a part of the problem. For SDMCP yes OD+ don't need it or ....
I hadn't the systray to run on OD+ but once i have install SDMCP (and copy past all files .dll found on C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\stardock C:\Program Files\Common files\stardock in OD folder and also DX and OB) never get the problems
I was wondering if that could help SD but like it's a little bite unorthodox and like everybody said that OD+ don't need SDMCP...i don't said it before.

I can say for experience that it doesn't solve the problem, because it was the first thing that I've tried...
Thanks for the answers.

Thanks also for your help but I also tried all these things with no success (and yes, I've OD+). I downgraded to 1.5 which works at the moment. I'll wait for a fix or a new version to try again. Thanks.

But 1.5 *does* use SDMCP!

Are you sure that when you have 1.9 loaded that SDMCP is *not* running?

Note that SDMCP is not launched from the 'usual' startup locations !!! - SDC is the most convenient way to disable it because of that.

hey... i got it to work... but i install v1.9 then reinstall and override directory with v1.5... only two icons appeared so i tho till restarted the comp... it worked for me hehehe
