How to create my own logon screen

can someone tell me how to create my own login screen? what do i need? or can someone direct me to a walkthrough? tnx a lot.

excuse me. kindly help a noob. i already have a background. i just want to know how to do it. I would also like to use logonstudio. i dont want to mess with my system files.

logonstudio doesn't do anything to system files. It's really just a mask... doesn't replace anything. Don't be afraid to try - if you make a logon that doesn't work, you can use ctrl,alt,del and still be able to log in!
