Yes, continue s'il vous plait LostHero, so long as you actually manage to kill off the Dread Lords this time by NOT making yourself a target and making masses or small / tiny ships to kill them off with. Just work on logistics to make a killer tiny fleet ! woot!

AN ARCHIN NEVER FORGETS:



It would be victory or death! Now was to time to rise. during the invation of the Dread Lords it would seem that not all starbases were destroy by the Dreadies, the Drengin had also sent fleets to destroy the Archin UpHeaval. Over the Comunicator Kona and Losthero had a full out arguement over the Drengins recent actions, it ended with war againest the Drengin empire.


Kona had gone too far.

This outright piracy lead to the possiblity of allying up with the Altarian Republic. If LostHero could find the Altarian and arrange for a treaty to be signed, but first ships were needed. Original designs weren't going to cut it, Losthero ordered a completly new array of ships to be made. It started with the redesign if the Colony Cruiser.


The new Cruiser was faster making trips across space in record time.


StarBases were now constructed on planets and deployed at certian locations.


The Super Scout was now faster, could travel further and could see futher too.


We could now trade using these merchant ships that could dock with a Starbases, ships and land on planets.


Death cruiser is now designed to land very swiftly and deploy a billion Thunder Troopers.


The Classic fighter was made twice as deadly as the older models.


The most recent fighter made for combat againest the Dreadies.


The Bombard fighter carries a payload the dread lords will never forget.


Made for heavy bombardment this corvette will rip through the dreadies organic ships like tissue paper.


The strongest ship constructed yet goes by the name 'Pulsar Corvette'

indeed these were poerful ships, LostHero only hoped that they would be strong enough to combat the dread lords. He felt certian though Archins would have the upper hand. With our military prepared we now turned to finding the Altarian. LostHero stood on the bridge of his survey vessel when out of nowhere a vortex exploded before them pulling the huge vessel to the shadowy depths, then blackness... a while later the crew awoke, no damage luckly but they were well out of the resupply range. "alright prep the sleeping chambers and get all crew to shut all none essential system down, were running on 'blackout' power now" LostHero would join them soon, for now he would send a message informing the council of their late arrival. he way just about the head of when alarms went off! a ship aproached.

They called themselves the Yor.

A breif talk revieved that the machine like Yor were created by Iconians and that the Yor viewed all organics as inferior, including their allies the DRENGIN! after that the disappeared. continuing on their travel though space sensors recorded a settlement on a near by planet, Pirates.


Priates had been attacking the Archins for years now, it was a sure bet that they were the ones who sold us off to the Dreadies and Drengin.

Colonization was going well, strange reports from Rockra about large undersea creatures that seemed harmless were venturing to shore to see the new arrivals. it greatly scared the people that they had to share the water with these creatures. without the aproval of losthero the council killed a small percentage and erected nets to keep them at bay.


Losthero was angry by the time he got back.

after finishing the colonization of this system a Colony cruiser was sent to find a home else were. enroute they discovered a nebular that could be used to increase our researching ablility.


this might be an option for future refference.

the report came in that the survey ship had fallen into another wormhole, LostHero let out a deep sigh. at this rite they would find the Altarian in the next 300 years. although the survey team did find more of the galactic powers. Drath and a few other minor races, but the also found the Thalan! the galactic race that are allied with the Altarian!

Finding the altarian just got easier.

did i hold back? i lost ever battle before this, this post decides whether the archins live or die.

No, not that you know of have you ever held back. But, to combat those Dread Lords is something spectacular. I did it in Dark Avatar campaign but only just barely. I built my ships to combat the Dread Lords, and so the Korath were a pushover.

I really do hope that the Archins do not die. They are entertaining. Keep them alive by mass building tiny hull'd ships with a few attack each, something like +2 or +3 attack per weapon? That seems like it would do the trick. And then stick them into one huge fleet of 10-15. You should only lose 2-3 per battle, which you should also be able to replace readily. Juse make sure that you keep those planets safe!

if i had an attack/Defence of +3 the dread lords would be dead by now. the Archins will survive this, if they can overwhelm Dread Lords And Drengin they can go home. you can imagine what that would be like, verse the 'Dark Elements Faction' contianing the Evil Demonicans, the blood thirsty Zerg and Dark Shadow-veil along with verseing the largest interseteller empire, the 'PeaceMakers'. PeaceMakers Banished the Archin long ago, now the Archins will return with the Altarian Republic to aid our lost allies, The Nedian Empire. the only race who have descovered Magic. It will be very interesting.

That will be interesting, now continue the story s'il vous plait?

i dont get much time too play but i'll try to fit it in sometime this weekend.

THE RISE OF THE ARCHINS

The Archins were ready for war. 7 new Planets were already building war ships. 7 planets would do for the time been, they would take the drengins planets when the time came.

Archion scientists have thought up a convinient new way to combat Dread Lords. Make Larger ships!

it could work, the dread lords were using huge capatial ships so why shouldn't we?

with our planets mostly in the conner of the galaxy we mostly were ignored by most other races. Drengin were staying awfully quiet, LostHero Knew they would strike soon.

it was a sure sign that a war was going on. battle ships going back and forth. "Losthero" The veiw screen lite up, an Archin imperial senator had come to give him news. "yes Senator, i'm listening" he said in a tired voice. "A small 5 man craft is currently orbiting Lost City, they request an audience with you leige. they call them selves, Humans". "very well send them in" he replied in a cool steady voice.


The meeting with the human leader was, unsettling. never in all his years as leader of the Archins had LostHero met such a single minded race.

LostHero: Welcome to my chambers, errm. sorry i forget your name?
Alan: Alan Brandly...
LostHero: yes, that's the one.
(looks at collection of skulls)
LostHero: i see my collection interests you.
Alan: I've never seen a race actually collect skulls.
LostHero: Archin Military men often find an interest. it proves how good we are in combat.
Alan: It's... Ok, i guess.
LostHero: does your race do the same?
Alan: no...
Losthero: Sorry to hear, it's actualy quiet rewarding.
Alan: Did you get this hobby from the Drengin.
LostHero: What?
Alan: we checked your background, you were allied with the Drengi-
LostHero: But Not Any More!
Alan: your also at war with Altarian and Thalan.
LostHero: Not true. We have taken a liking to them.
Alan: so that you may plant a trap in their military or so you could earn more Skulls?
LostHero: Neither, dont Take us for power hungry worriers we are an old and noble race.
Alan: were have i heared that before.
LostHero: have you come here the interigate or speak diplomacy because if you are then your doing a lousy job of it.
Alan: We do not like Evil races in general.
Losthero: ...Evil?... We are not evil Alan, the Archin were decived by the Drengin. If you want to talk evil then take a good hard look in the mirror and reflect on what you have said today. There will be no treaty between our people that you wont question. Go back to your chambers and call me when you actually wish to talk diplomacy.

in short the meeting didn't go well. Sure enough though Alan replied and gave the location of the Altarians to our survey ship. they relpied back with this footage.

(their symbols changed... i dont know why it just has) The Arnor Homeworld!

If indeed this was the Arnor homworld then the salvation device could still be there. If Archins were able to aquire this tech they might be able to use it to send them home! the only problem was that the Planet was swarimg with Dread Lords.

New fire power was needed

A new ship was designed 'The Dread Lord' class fighter was equipt with 1 beam attack and 2 beam defence. since the Laser corvette could reapel the Dread lord Doom Ray with only 1 beam defence this vessel should be able to kill most dread lord ships.
with the Help of the Torgolian Empire the Archin UpHeaval was know trying to develop a new weapon againest the Drengin.

It wasn't long before we located the Altarian.

The Humans had earned a weary trust. Losthero hoped that in time he could learn to trust them.

Yeah, of course. You don't attack little puppies and little children....you eat them.

Well, I doubt that the Dread Lord Class fighter, though it shows such promise for the Torgal, will show much promise for you. Once you get to Medium hulls Than'Al will contact you with other ship designs...(this is all going to be kept on the DL [pun intended] and repressed from Thinker and Rosharn as much as possible)

They might not take kindly to sending another civilization our uber ship designs...but mef.

And remember, against the Dread Lords, never get bigger then a +3 atk/+3 def on a small or tiny hull. And then just mass them together. You are going to lose most of your ships in each battle, most likely, but it shouldn't be too bad.

If I can ever get up to something better then those Plasma weapons that I use, I will probably win some stuff.

I think that I am going to have to do some heavy thinking on the Think buildings so that I can get really high thinking points and be able to actually compete with those stupid Drengin that have a tonne more planets then I do...like I think that i have maybe 7, maybe...and they have somewhere in the multiples of 10.

Your talking about the Archins here... well let you use our ship designs. if 'The Dread Lord' Ship design doesn't work then it will ber to my surprise. the Solar Fighter, the first ship of the Archin navy, could take a Dread Lord Fighter or Corvette in a group of four and it only have 1 beam attack, no defence.

SH*T, i just got an upgrade add the game has stuffed up. i have lost the entire game. do not expect any more story from this post. give me a few days to reboot the system.

i'll have to make a new game. it was a game upgrade, it was ment to require no activition but when i opened the game it said time to activate your product. i couldn't find a way to remove the upgrade so i was forced to erase the entire game   . I managed to save the Archins UpHeavals Civ. file but not the game.

oh well, i'll make a few upgrades of my own, starting with 60 RaceImages and Logos!
then i might make the Minor race more of a threat by giving them different abilities.

i'll try and play a game soon until then i will conclude this story with a few words...

Now the Archin UpHeaval could truly settle their empire. The Dread Lords fought day and night but Archins weren't going down this time. It was obvious that there was a war going on between the Evil Empires (Drengin, Korax, Yor and Drath) and the Good Empires (Altarian, Arcean, Thalan, Human, Iconian and Torian). A treaty was signed by all races allowing the Archins to fight with the Good Factions. The Dread Lords were getting stronger by the day, if something wasn't done to destroy them then all would be lost. The Archins Had a secret plan. They assualted Arnoria and took it from the Dread Lords hands. using the salvation device they reversed the feed and combined all Galaxies into one. The War just got very interesting.

the Greatest sacrifice made in this endevor was made by LostHero would had willingly given his life to join all galaxies and brought back the Arnor!
