Which version of DeskScapes are you running? I am not familiar with this problem in general, but it could be a driver issue. What video card are you running?

im using deskscapes version 1.01, and my video card is an ATI mobility radeon X1400

Is it DeskScapes that's crashing, or Windows DreamScene?  When the crash happens, look to your systray to see if a message briefly pops up saying what crashed.

MAD12345: Please do the following:
Launch DeskScapes from the Start Menu and click the option 'About Stardock Deskscapes'
Click the option, 'Copy information to clipboard', and then paste the information into a response.

and it does seem that it is dreamscene, not deskscapes

and after dreamscene crashes, deskscapes stops, is there any way to restart it? deskscapes is not even in the list of options for my desktop background.

I am having the same issues. Some dreams crash DreamScene and some don't. The crash seems to happen at the loop. Anyone know of any fixes?

To speed things up please send us this file:

Please hold the Windows key, press R and type the following into the Run dialog:

I'd just like to say that I have this problem, too.

But not with Deskscapes, but with a standard dream that comes with Ultimate!

Disappearing Deskscpe folder, however, only happens with .dream files.
