New cheat flag message appears on save, reload or both?

With the new beta, you get an indication if a game has somehow picked up a cheat flag, so you can avoid posting it. I think this is a great solution. But what I would like to know is do you get the message on saving the game, loading the game or on either?

I know some people have seen this flag due to an error with Beta 2 that was fixed with Beta 3. Which of the above was it?

Are you running 1.59b.093? If so, update to 1.59b.095.

I have the Beta 3 (1.59b.095) running at home and I haven't actually seen this message. I was just wanting to know where I would see it if it where to ever occur.

Basically, if it's on save, I don't need to worry about keeping more than one extra old save. If it's on load, then I need to keep a series of them in case a game ever picks it up and I need to revert back to an older game time frame.

Wait, so beta 2 games are inappropriately cheat-flagged? I thought this was an issue with the initial release of beta 3 only.

Or are some beta 2 games okay? I assume I could check by installing beta 3 and loading the game? If I do, I would then have to somehow revert back to beta 2 to continue playing if I want to submit later, right? How would I do that?

My bad. You are right the Beta 3 #1 had the issues Beta 3 #2 and Beta 2 are good.

Wait a minute now... could someone please inform me as to which beta is the newest and freshest one? I followed the link in Cari's post a few days ago and that is what I installed. What am I missing here? Where is the most recent build?

SD issued a beta 3 shortly after beta 2 (only a couple of days). There was a bug with it and the meta that they resolved in a matter of hours, thus Beta 3 #2 was born. If you use Stardock Central and are pointed at Server 1, you should get Beta 3 #2 and be in good shape.

Edit: ES you have beta 2.

ES, the latest and greatest is on SDC now. The metaverse stuff didn't get updated in the initial 1.6b3 update (1.59b.093) and a fix was quickly uploaded as soon as it was noticed (1.59b.095). There was only a window of a couple hours at most during which .093 was available so few people probably got it.

Thanks guys. I did manage to find the thread about this after posting here, but again, thanks for the quick responses. I guess I'll be firing up SDC tonight (it has been a little while ).
