This video is quite something to watch for crash bang and smash enjoyment alone. The bollard used in this test must be made of a material that is really strong ( duh that goes without saying). The bollard comes out of this little test unscathed and in perfect working order.
The bollard has a medium density polyethylene outer sleeve supported by a 114mm galvanised steel inner core that can be concrete filled on site to achieve full anti-ram specification. Now who would have though something so simply constructed could cause so much damage to a truck? I would have thought the little blighter would bend just a little? Hell no not this sucker!
