The Idol Final Four

American Idol is down to its final four: Melinda Doolittle (front left), Blake Lewis(front center), Lakisha Jones (front right) and Jordin Sparks (back center).



I don't think this year's bunch is generating as much buzz as last years group, but they are pretty talented nonetheless. I would say Melinda is a shoe in (very talented and a very likable gal), but Blake is so much of a risk taker and so unique from the rest that I wouldn't mind him winning, either.

If I were asked who was going next, I would say Lakisha. Although she has a great voice, I don't think she has the fan base the other three have. I guess we'll have to wait and see. AI voting can be so unpredictable (look at what happened to Chris last year...although it worked out for the best the he didn't win).

p.s. I know AI articles are usually done by Jamie Burnside...but since he hasn't been on to do one in a while, I thought I'd chime in for a bit.

Nice pic of them Rose! I haven't seen Jamie do anymore articles on AI either, I think he said he wasn't going to for some reason or other...don't remember!

I was sorry to see Chris go but I do like the final four! It will be pretty interesting who goes next. You might be right about Lakisha being next.

Jordan has impressed me. I know she didn't do too well with the rock theme this week, but other than that, she has been shining.

Like you, Donna, I was also sad to see Chris go. I thought he had a nice voice.
