I do have a comment I want to share; more of a personal taste that I wanted to get your feedback on.

The skins, and walls, and gadgets that last the least amount of time are the ones that are "branded" with something I don't care about.  Things like the name of teh skin or artist or what have you.

I respect the name of your skin, but it has no emotional meaning for me and unless it's part of the art . . it seems out of place.  I'd rather there be a sub-style at least (not the default) without the branding.

Does anyone else have thoughts about this?

Zubaz, i choose the name of my skin in general to show what they are, but for one time i would like to called one for an other reason. I called it like a dedication to my daughter. I know the name means nothing for some people but if i begin to called my skins like people want i'm gonna to called all of them "vista...."

Perhaps I was unclear Quentin.  I like the name, but having it displayed on a skin turns me off.  That's all.

i think it looks good so far quentin but i agree with zubaz. its cool its a dedication to your daughter and all but that skin would then be just for you and noone else.if you are planning to submit then if i were you i would do what zubaz said and add a substyle for those who would prefer it not be there...anyways really nice so far can't wait to see finished product

for the others things: i'm wondering, i return in past never said why i called it like that, do you want too i change the title of my work? I guess not. But in all cases i'm not gonna to change the name of my skin it was called olphi it's still call olphi.

Quentin . . no one wants you to change the name, just have a sub-style that does not display it on the statmenu or on the "please wait" dialog and wallpaper.

It's your skin and you can do whatever you want and it'll be great.  But for me, skins don't stay on my system if it has text or graphics that don't fit me.

I understand better now there are three place where this name is displayed on wall for people who want (it seems to be the case) i'm gonna to make one without the Orb; On the please wait it's already done cause it's seem to be not what i want i erased it since 2 or 3 hours now and on Start Menu it's the only one who stay at final so i guess they aren't any more mater isn't it....

This tread is certainly die now... But i would like to see people who have questions about WB building or SkinStudio ask them on the "List of some tutorials to make a WB" and skinners who have tips or tutorials to share post their links too. I think that could be a good idea to make a list of all of them for beginners or not. I'm gonna to put all links i find on it day after day .
