Macro vs Micro

Which should Sins favour?

Atm I think Sins is not doing enough for macro. This game could work macro-wise because the field of play is HUGH ,and you have an epic amount of fleets.

I believe that it is Sins biggest headache...

the fact that really, this game at its current size of gamefield should be played at a zoomed out view where each fleet is regarded as a "unit" , rather then going into a battle zoomed in and microing that whilst leaving other battles to the AI.

and the fact that ships and battles are so damn pretty that people WANT to zoom in... well you can see the problem

Macro to me is really just micro , but reflecting a larger scale of gameplay. macro and micro is all about at what scale of the game should a player play this game at and apply his strategical skills to. Should he regard a fleet as an entity and micro "fleets" ,or should he lower his scale and micro "units"

In the pic i represnt each entity as a tank.

Umm I guess the easy way to fix this is make all the ships look like rusty cubes...

Your looking at the game from the context of scope with your use of the terms "macro and micro" of which there is nothing with doing.

However the terms are traditionally considered from the context of game operational mechanics and the amount of "hands-on" activity that is necessary for the average player to be able to interact with the game to a standard degree of proficiency.

oh, THATS what they are...

I do agree though, sometimes I find myself doing work between important events and research completions.
