So I have 5 tokens for totalgaming.net. Lots of games I am not familiar with but look kind of fun. Has anyone found one of the games outside of the galciv series to be really good that I should seriously consider?

Depends on what games you like. Space Rangers 2 is quite excellent, but I'm partial to many that are available for various reasons. What genres are you into?

Looks like space rangers is multiple styles of games in one. I may try it out. I played the disciples series but never got any expansions. I enjoyed the game. I have read a lot of good reviews concerning space rangers 2. Lordkosc google space rangers 2 review and look at gamespy, ign and gamespot for a general idea of what it is all about.

Looks ok... Graphics are a bit dated, my brain rejects things that aren't super pretty.

I think it's pretty, but it's 2D. If you've got the Internet connection and time, check out the demo (I say that because it's a huge demo).

It was selected as Strategy Game of the Year in 2006 by PC Gamer, I believe (it beat out GalCiv II).

I just bought it. It was only 2 tokens. Will probably play a little this evening. Looks like just one of those games that are so different and crazy that it is really fun.

Played a little last night. I was to wrapped up in a beta 1 game that I did not get much time to play space rangers 2. What I did play was very overwhelming but cool. I am going to play at lunch today and get into it more but looks very deep and fun.

the only game that doesnt have a demo is Patrician III, hmm maybe ill go try the two ohters. Defender of the Crown looks like fun

Space Ranger 2 is a gotta have. It's one of the best PC games in history IMO.  I don't know if I've ever seen anyone who hasn't thought it a great game actually.

I should have a Defender demo in the near future for people to check out. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to track down a working download link for a Patrician III demo.
