What ever happened to Victory points?

Just wondering if they are still in the game (or in the beta!).


BTW: Culture does NOT remove the FOW in my game (Yes, my culture is there). Just thought I'd let "offial people" know.
Also: whats the difference between pirates and mauraders in the game?

Victory points were removed prior to beta. They may or may not be returning.

Culture is not fully implemented. Mauraders are not yet implemented at all

ARG! I HATE SECRETS!!! Especially ones that may never be revealed:

My guess is that at random they'll come raping and pillaging in your systems. Maybe even be influenced by the bounties.
