Backstory of the Universe?

Other then whats on the website, and the little bits of information available in the Beta. How much more back-story or information on the Universe of SOASE will we receive? If their is more info will it be in the Manual? Game? Website?

Will their be a Campaign?

Yes there will be a campaign.

No it wont be in the beta, at least this one. Not sure about the next one.

And most likely the game info will soon be updated, so be patient.

I don't think they've said whether or not there'll be a campaign. Personally I'm more interested in the multiplayer than the campaign. I'd much rather thrash a human, that way you know there is somebody on the other end banging on their desk in frustration as I slowly crush their pathetic empire.

I'm in it for the multiplayer as well zimbot, however more delving into the story of the universe would be nice to.

They wouldnt build up a huge universe and backstory(ahem) for no campaign.
