Suggested Feature: Ladder Mode

Your thoughts?

IF we have time before release (And if we don't, then we can put it out later hopefully) I'd like there to be a campaign mode where you start playing against terrible candidates on different maps and then as you win you work your way up the ladder until you're eventually competing against Lincoln and such.

If you were really going to do it as a campaign, you should have the player first winning a seat in the local school board, then on the city council, then for mayor, then for state legislature, then governor, then president.

I don't know if your code is flexible enough to accomodate that.

That woudl take more time than we have. But yea, we agree with you in principle.

I like the ladder concept.

You could also use it as a training tool revealing new features at each level. Easiest level could pit you against poor stamina 8 characters, with lots of cash, and many options disabled to remove complexity. At each higher level the complexity is added.

Adding state contests at a later stage for senatorships would be a lovely addition to this.
