unable to launch

I've dled and installed the current beta, and updated my direct x, however when i try to run the game it says failed to initialize (0xc0150002).

some basics: pentium 4 2.52
512MB ram
Nvidea Geforce 4 TI 4200

Hmm... I don't think your video card is supported... That card is a good 5-6 years old

While one of the IC guys may be able to shed some light on the issue more specifically on Monday, and see if there is a possible solution, your video card is indeed below the minimum requirements posted for the beta (A DirectX9 card is stated; GF4TIs are DirectX8).

I too get the same error but am running DX9.0c on an ATI Radeon 9600/9700. The initial beta worked fine. It's the latest update (0.60[b].004) that fails.

I am having the same problem and I have a newer GeForce card. I also noticed that there is no entry in the "Application data" area that stores user settings. Could this be the problem?

i just had the same error... i uninstalled and am trying to re-install, hope this works

just bought a new card GeForce FX 5200 (newer and DX9 at least) but no dice yet, gonna try a reinstall

and you reinstalled the newest version... 0.61[b].009 ?

Which Nvidia driver version are you using ? I am using version 93.81

Also are you running vista or XP?

update them drivers, see if there is a difference....

i updated them to 93.71 no dice
im on irc with blair thrying to work this out... ill be sure to post when and how we fixed it.
