Glowing Asteroids

Need a tally of how many people have glowing Planet asteroids, I've seen in some of the screenshots taken the asteroids were glowing. What vid card are you using if you have it? I have a theory it has to do with ati cards. But what do I know, I'm just an artist, not a techy.

We need to fix it. Responses would be helpful

I've seen them in the screenshots also... I have yet to see it happen in any of my games though. Nvidia cards seem to be ok...

not that true, I use gforce at work and ati at home
ati looks crisper. just that glowing rock is weird

It probably has something to do with the reflection coming of the asteroids. Just like moons most asteroids have a reflective surface.

I thinks its an ATI shader error of some sort or maybe it has to do with HDR lighting?

well, we don't use HDR. I think it is getting confused between the asteroid shader and the planet shader, if you notice, the planets have a glow around them. Thinking that may be what it is, but not sure why it's only on ati cards. The shader is rendering fine, cause it's using the same textures as the resource asteroids, and those I believe look fine.

The asteroids have always glowed here (only ATI cards, haven't checked on GeForce recently). I figured that's just how they were supposed to be...
