where dat dern cursor and objectdock go

I TOOK A SCREENSHOT OF MY DESKTOP FOR THE "MY DESKTOP" PART FOR MY PROFILE, AND WHEN I SEE THE DESKTOP OF MINE I CAN SEE THAT MY OBJECTDOCK AND CURSOR XP DO NOT SHOW UP! WHERE DAT DERN CURSOR XP AND OBJECTDOCK GO? Alright what did i do wrong?

That's wierd.Did you use just button"print screen"on your keyboard or some special utility?When I hit "print screen"on my keyboard,everything showed up.

Hi, I use a tiny free program called FastStone capture...it doesn't even install on your computer...anyway...it will capture both your docks & cursor...thats why I use it...plus lets you save the SS in several different formats...can set which folder you want the SS to automatically go to...and you can take SS's of small areas as well...many more options available ..Now all I do is take the shot...and upload


In this thread click on my name & view my profile and you will see my SS's that I took with that program.

It also works with Vista

Select settings to customize it ...Note that you do not need to select show mouse..it does automatically if your mouse is on a window or dock While it is in your system tray you can easily rightclcik to change any settings

yeah Bohemy i used the print button on my keyboard and then i use the gimp to capture it,but it still does not show up. is it the gimp? And to Mysecret thank you i will check that out for sure!Also to Sir Bichur you are always a great help to me! I apologize for not being as saavvy as you all. I'M learning. Really i am. And sorry for the caps locked,did not realize. My humble apologies.

your a kind soul MySecret thank you.And i checked out your profile page.beautiful shots of your screens.I could learn alot from you.Also thanks for the link to FastStone.I will download that when i get home.Very cool.I am at work right now[Land o' lakes]so i cannot do that right now,but can't wait to check it when i get home tonight.your a great help!
