I am watching the movie for the first time and writing as I watch this crap. It starts out with some good self deprecating humor. Then starts with stupid stuff like the atmosphere is thin, so thin that humans can change the atmosphere and our climate. Our atmosphere is 21 miles thick. The picture Mr. Gore shows a little more than the last mile of atmosphere. Our air has weight the air is so heavy that at sea level the air pushes on us with 14.7 pounds of air pressure on every square inch of our bodies. The oxygen level on the planet is at about 21% and each time the oxygen lever hits 30% the planet has a problem and the oxygen level drops to 10% this means that we are close to planetary disaster but the other times it has happened man was not the dominant species.

The hottest 10 years on record are not listed in Mr. Gore’s movie. This is because he does not cover the temperature increases prior to the last major Ice age.

Mr. Gore neglects to mention that the increase storms in the forms of hurricanes and tornados was because we were in the Solar Max, it happens every eleven years on a 22 year cycle and we have known about this cycle for at least 80 years. It has been mostly understood for 40 years.

Then he goes to film footage of him losing the election. Which has little to do with global warming unless he is suggesting that the world will heat up because he lost the election.

Mr. Gore says that global warming causes more rain and floods as well as more droughts. I truly wish he would explain to me how the Sahara which used to be green is now arid all before the first SUV rolled off the assembly line.

Polar bears drowned while swimming 60 miles looking for ice. It is well known that polar bears swim 100 miles with out a problem making it back to the ice pack. That is 200 miles oops.

The conveyer system:
Discovered by an entomologist that every scientist said was insane, about 15 years ago and it was not until it was linked to global warming did anyone accept his theory.
World wide flooding:
Mr. Gore shows New York City and then floods it. The funny part is that the parts that flood were areas of NYC that was the water until we made a landfill. Think about that. An area of water flooded with dirt to become dry land will sink and be reclaimed by the water.

I am losing interest in the movie with 20 minutes to go.
Mr. Gore’s sister died of lung cancer and the truth is he thinks that is not a good way to die. I am wondering what is a good way to die? I think being shot at the age of 105 by five 19 year old jealous husbands is a good way to go.

The studies I have seen over the last few decades never disputed the fact of global warming. What is in dispute is the cause of global warming. Throughout history we have gone through many ice ages the last five or six are covered by Mr. Gore but none of them was a major ice age which we are still recovering from.

The planet Mars is getting warmer at the same rate as Venus and the Earth. This leads me to believe that we as a species are not the cause of global warming. Sure we add to it, the most reckless study says we are raising the Earths temperature by 6/100 of a degree per year. The rest is caused by nature and out of our control.

I am waiting for the update that Mr. Gore has added to this work.
