Ever since I saw the link, I forget what post, to Giveaway of the day, I check periodically just to see what there is. I found two in the graphics section. Created by Spiral Graphics, one called Wood Workshop the other Genetica 2.5, provide patterns in different textures. Different wood grains, metal patterns, corroded or burnished etc, etc,...Anyone interested the link is  http://giveawayoftheday.com

Yup...it is. But scanning with an antivirus program before install is a good idea...just in case. BTW...downloaded Gravit


PS- Knew I forgot something...sorry 'bout that. Speaking of screensavers...3DSC by DevSoft is also good. website is WWW Link orWWW Link I don't remember which one I got it from.

For what it's worth, I haven't run these but I checked out both Wood Workshop & Genetica Viewer, at virustotal.com. When sourced from this link WWW Link they were both reported as containing no identifiable viruses.

I know...I scan everything I download. I suggested it just as a precaution because once before I dowloaded what I thought was a promising app and it turned out to contain a bug. Not to say that there is or was one with these apps. I do however thank you for your reply and additional info...well received. BTW#2
Leave Gravit alone...it ain't worth it. 16 bit program and runs only at 800x600 resolution and is a real pain to configure.
