well i do agree with the former minister. Its time for the goverments to show, what they know, about extraterestials.

We already know that the UK and US have been doing alot of research about it secretly.

The UK goverment released some documents not so long ago. Of some classified materials. like radar and ufo landings.

And its known that the US do know something to, they are just to "greedy" to share it with anybody else.

But then again, if they have known about it since the roswell incident. How would the US allys feel about being left out.

And one thing is kinda sure. Some countrys would do about anything to get there hands on the technology.

But then again again. If they would freely share thia technology among the goverments around the world, it could be that the US would be known for the country, who did dear to do so.

some info if some would be interested:

There's no such thing as too much Stargate

For all we know the aliens could be fleeing climate change on their home planet and scouting the universe for other suitable worlds, and any technology we have would be useless, then it could just be...y'know...CUCKOO CUCKOO.

show us the evidence.

this isn't the cold war. if we had the stuff we would use it to our own advantage. we wouldn't hide it from ourselves.
of course we wouldn't let anyone else have it.

let me make it clear that any interstellar drives are certainly not as clean as people seem to like to believe.
in fact they're probably worse than most other things (matter-matter annihilation? can you say widespread cancer.)

I believe in alien life. I dont believe they are here on earth, far less that they would get 1/2 way across the visible universe only to crash laughably on our planet.

We have to overcome the widespread gigantic explosions first

I'm sure US advancements have nothing to do with a disproportionate amount of taxpayer dollars being burned on the military industrial complex owing to the ridiculous lack of campaign finance regulations and everything to do with alien autopsies. Oh well, at least it got us the internet early.

oh thats nothing, just don't put too much in at the same time.
Oh well, at least it got us the internet early.

that had nothing to do with military funding...

hey, disproportionate dumping of money into our own economy is a good thing.

Huh??

Ever hear of the ARPANET?
well it did have roots in the military. but mostly the idea came from a private sector.

I think we should thank the Russians for it. Sputnik and all.

We're not about to have this deevolve into an argument where you attempt to assert that the time-delay involved in trickle-down economics is the reason we had an economic boom during the Clinton era and the reason it ended towards the end of the Clintons was because Clinton was working against the trickle-down effect rather than the bubble bursting on the dot.coms are we?

Because if we are, I really miss the days when the majority of Republicans were still working out that there is actually an internet outside of AOL.

Heh... This is almost appropriate, but now that I'm learning PHP I'm looking forward to telling someone, "I see your wiki has grown as big as mine."

Actually yours was bigger but mine didn't have "weasel" words. Wikipedia cracks me up.

yeah... I stared at that funny for 1/2 a minute.

come on. "weasel words"???

Dont worry, I wont underestimate your weakness.
By the way, the Wiki is very unreliable, thats why Congress doesnt have acess to it

Enlighten me, what is this thread about. UFOs? or Global Warming? or the sheer stupidity of the common public?
