Vista Support?

Does WindowFX support Vista yet or not? Just curious before I load it, don't want to blow Vista up...

Yes version 1.1....ducks......just in case There is a thread here where the staff keep a running tally on which programs are Vista compatible or a timeline if they are not right now....will have to look for it...I will post back if i can find it...or someone else may post it here

Secret: I checked out the thread that you mentioned, and although it does have a lot about StarDock's Vista compatibility, it really doesn't mention anything about WindowsFX being compatible yet. So.... let me double check: Are you saying that I can load the current 'beta' version of WindowsFX on 32-bit Vista and have it perform satisfactorily? Or will it cause Vista to crash/mess up? And are you on Vista and have you loaded WindowsFX yourself?

If you have SDC, open it - highlight WindowsFX, then click history - see if there is anything mentioned about vista

If it's not on that list, it's not supported under Vista yet.

WindowFX gives full feature window shadowing for HilledSE theme on Basic UI in RTM with two laptops here flawlessly and undetectable resource costs. Taskbar thumbnailing only displays titlebar without windows. Other effects worked 1st testing back in RC1 IIRC. Just dragged folder from XP to install.
