Two Things!!

Hey I've got a few questions for you veteran skinners here..   First off, I'd like to add a rollup button to a skin. It's a pretty easy task most of the time, but I'm working with a transparent skin, and I can't figure out how to add buttons to transparent windows. And secondly, the skin I'm working on is not so much my own, but more a modification of "Arrow". I think it turned out well, and I'd like it to be available for others to download, but I dont want to gain any points for downloads, etc, because it's still 80% someone else's work! Should I just keep it to myself?

Without permission from the original Artist (Mike Bryant) you won't get it hosted. You can probably email him and ask permission by clicking on his name in the gallery.

As far as roll-up, you can set Windowblinds to "roll-up" when you right click the title bar of a window so the button has kinda fallen out of use. If you really want one I'd suggest opening a skin that has one and see how it's done. I think Bones2112 just put out a skin with one this month.

For the roll up button, I believe that WB 5 per pixel skins do not allow extra buttons.

You can only upload a mod of someone else's skin with permission for the skin author.
For just the minor tweaks (20% yours) that you have done, if it was me I would just keep for myself.

Ok. Yeah I was pretty much trying to mix oil and water... I was taking the best things I like from vista and from macs and putting them together in a skin. I like how macs are pretty much borderless except for the shadow, it makes things more efficent for me, and the rolly-uppy is nice. But vista looks so darn good!

PS- when i right click my title bar, there is no option for roll up and I'm running WB5 full version.

for roll-up
Display Properties > Appearance tab > Windowblinds button > Override default settings > bottom of the page "Action to take when right clicking on titlebar:"
