Question on Shellstyle Font Specifying.

 I though I had seen somewhere in a post how to change font type inside the shellstyle, cant seem to find it..

Anyone want to enlighten me on how to do it in WB.. XP standard font looks a little awkward in shell when the rest of the theme is Calibri.

Im sure i wont be the only one who would benefit from this.

I am not sure exactly what you mean by "font in shellstyles" John but the fonts listed under "fonts for classic widgets" section in Skinstudio will control the text used in windows explorer. The font MUST be a negative value. Calibre -11 is my preference but may be a little small for some people. I don't remember which one it is. You will probably change them all to calibre anyways.

You need to reboot for the font to change. Killing and restarting explorer.exe down't do it.

Craig, I resent it as a zip, Ill try again bro..

As far as my question..I mean the fonts used by the shellstyle. Stytem Tasks, Other Places, Details..etc. Right now everything including fonts for widgets are set same.. Calbri -11 also my preferred font and size, however the shellstyle fonts remain some larger bulky XP font.

Thats what i want to change.

That would be a negative on changing those fonts. There might be a reg tweak out there but I have no clue.

Well, hopefully someone does.. I know some of ^^Gabriel's skins use diff. fonts.

Umm.. i believe all of them with the smaller thinner shellstyles uses at LEAST a smaller font than most Wb's ive seen.

I know Gpod 2 is one.

I'm not seeing any custom text on any skins. It might be possible by editing the shellstyleUI file directly but I'm not touching that.

yeah im positive its in the UI file.. but all i see are font sizes...no font names
