dreamscene/dreamscape decoding error

I installed dreamscene, and got the following error. "Windows DreamScene has encountered an error. The video file format is not supported, or there was an error decoding this video file"
I also got the same error before and after I installed DeskScapes. I can run a .wmv file fine.. Its the mpeg's that give the error, (such as the one that comes with dreamscene, as well as a *.Dream file.) Any fixes for this problem?

ok.. found a solution to the problem.. Need to download the vista codec package.. 4.2.7 did the charm.

Strange, I downloaded the 4.2.7 codec package and I still get the same error. WMP will play the MPEG fine, but DreamScenes gives me an error.

I can play WMV's though. Any ideas folks?

I'm having the same issues with the built in dreamscene file and another .dream file. Also it won't work with 1 of 4 HD .wmv files I downloaded from MS (the Dolphins_1080.wmv file). I tried installing the vista codec package 4.2.7, but it made no difference.
