Those Advent ships look stunning. Please tell us how close we are to the beta, instead of teasing us with beautiful screenshots.

WOW, NICE.
I LOVE ALL 3 (the pictures i mean)

so a few questions

1. on image 2 with the earth like planet, you see some small ships traveling around the planet. Are they traders, or just for show

2. And image 3, its very dark, has that something to do with the sun? like its not as "powerfull" like other suns?

And on the first image, you really can see the diffrence of size by looking at the carrier and its fighters.

3. So just a question about the beta. When its released, is that the "final" for the grafics? since to me it just looks finished

cheers

You will all notice on BOTH Lava planets , there are space elevators , which means the lava planets are habitable!

I know this is a bit off-topic, but did anyone ever see the SnapShot stories? I miss nto seeing them

Nice shots though.

blah screen shots... I need video damn it video!

It does however look nice - any chance the game will look better on a higher end computer? I'm not saying it looks bad (it looks modern) I'm just curious if there are any better graphics setting... I remember hearing the game was scalable just currious how scalable - and does it have the ability to make use of DX10?

I mean wow what the hell, amazing pictures. Why didnt you release these earlier..
and when do we get more

About the triangular glowing thingies on the planets are those the space elevators?

We need scalable time in real life too,, to speed to august in one day like eh?

Hi Just to say that this game will be awsome and I hope that the results will be at the size of your efforts.....

the game looks reealy nice, realy fun, from what I have read and im gonna talk to this game to as manny people I can;) keep up I personnaly hope that it doesn't remain too much time before release so i can put my hand on it..

here are some suggestion

It would be cool to be able to: custum color of your ships's Hull.

have some kind of ship creator easy to use
a little bit like the car creator in need for spreed
carbon and a easy to use map editor

have the option to able/disable resuply and repar
the interceptors
when you make an upgrade i hope it will somting on your ship!if it as to

I hope you will like my suggest and that they will be shared by the rest of the community

Ps Sorry for my english.....lol

The details on the planets look amazing, but I'm skeptic of how they will look when zoomed in. They are pretty near, but still out of range, it looks.

Backgrounds are awesome, as usual.

Still no lighting improvement (at least from what I can see). Still look bland (like though they're part of the texture) and don't give off a glow still. A real glow would be nice, as opposed to integrating it with the texture. At least, that's the impression I'm getting. The background lighting in the second picture looks like over-bloom at the bottom; not bad.

So just a question about the beta. When its released, is that the "final" for the grafics? since to me it just looks finished

I hope not; I suspect the graphics department is winding down, but I seriously think you guys can still do some more work.

gameplay over graphics.
I prefer to play a smooth 3 bit game rather than a clunky uber-engine game.

I absolutely agree with Schemanticsninja.

While I appreciate eye-candy like everyone else, The Game comes first with eye-candy a distant second. This is a strategy game, after all, so I don´t want to watch a video/slide show, I want to play!

Just my 2 cent

Wow incredible. Loving those Advent ships, I don't think I've seen them very much in any recent screenshots. Now...if this were a video...

I must say the graphics are looking much better, the planets and back grounds were always good from the begining, the ships have been progressively improving.

It would be nice to see some close up shots of the ships.
