Dreascene has created an unrecoverable error when decoding the video

Yep, every time I run deskscape I get the error within about 10 seconds.

General System Info:
Windows Vista Ultimate - 3gb ram
Nvidia 8800 GTX 768MB with latest reference drivers
Dual 20" flat screens at 1600x1200
dual core intel 6600

What dream?  Or all?

I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 Duo Core @ 2Ghz 2GB RAM, NVidia Geforce Go 7800.

I was getting this problem, but only with .mpg files or dreams created using .mpg files. Dreams created from .wmv worked fine. I believe my problem was with Roxio EMC 9 as I started getting the problems with dreamscene after installing EMC. Once I uninstalled EMC dreamscene began working fine again.

I am not sure exactly what the problem was, but I am assuming it some kind of problem with codecs that Roxio installed, so you might want to look at the codecs on your system.

I am getting the same error...rebooted to...same error.

I downloaded the one from stardock...that is the only one so far

I have an 8800 GTS card and am using the same driver (the latest beta driver is useless!), and DO NOT have this problem (only problem I have with dreamscene is with multiple user accounts on deskcapes 1.01).

I am running Athlon 5000+ with 2gb RAM, single monitor 1280 x 1024. Perhaps it's a problem with dual displays?
