Begin the game with a small empire

The story of the game talks about a Drengin Empire that controls many star systems before the discovery of Hyperdrive made by the Humans. So, It could be nice if the races (except humans) beging the game with some star systems colonized. By this way, we are playing the real history in any game, not only in the campaing

If you'd like to have different starting circumstances, you can make a custom map and/or scenario. The normal sandbox game starts with everyone on equal footing for gameplay balance and for the fact that many players like to play their own stories. Since you can play entirely against custom races this goes even more so for DA.

I think that there should be a date set indicator. I mean, yes, some players play their own stories. I do. But I'd prefer if I had the illusion I was starting a civilization. For example, if I was the Korx, I'd set it to 2188, or 78, whenever Altarian Prophecy took place- that's when their civilization started.

In Dread Lords, I thought you should be able to set races homeworlds. Since you can now, it's not an issue.

Well, you are right about make the scenario. Maybe you can do a "campaing" class of game, so you can play the original story without make a scenario (it´s very tedious). And it could be challenging because you should stand against a Drengin Empire almost from nothing (if you are human). But, yes, if i can make a scenario, what´s the matter?
