Online play?

Hi, I heard about this game and people say its awsome, so I think I'll get it. But I get bored of strategy games quick unless they got online play. I heard in a review somewhere that this game is lacking online play, in the description though it says in Metaverse it's possible to play with friends or agaist them.

So since you guys have played I can confirm, can I play online with this game? Like on Battle.net with Warcraft 3? Or is Metaverse just a ranking system?

The Metaverse is just a ranking system that you can upload your endgame scores to.
However it does add some fun to the game as you can help your own 'empire' or join one of the ones already in existence and assist them.

The main thing to always remember is to play the game for fun!!
