Welcome Screen does not have Welcome

Using LogonStudio I can create Welcome Screens quite easily. My problem is that the screens only display the picture that I have loaded but do not contain the words Welcome, Windows is shutting down etc.

In the Welcome Message Property Pane everything shows up correctly but whwn booting the word Welcome is missing from the welcome screen.

Could some expert in the Forum please help me.

By default Logon Studio doesn't show those messages in the logon. You have to edit the uifile to get them to show.

I saw the uifile. It is awesome and would take some doing to edit. I didn't find the word Welcome anywhere for editing. Please boss0190, could you explain a little more on what and where to edit.

The words such as "Welcome" you change in the theme.ini. To make the text show, there are a few places in the uifile to change.

I don't do many logons with Logon Studio anymore, but a couple lines you can change are down towards the bottom of the uifile.

Between boss and Cavan's advice and a little experimenting of my own, I've been able to change the fonts, colors of fonts, the user name font, and the welcome shadow color. I can include phrases like "Is there anybody in there?" in lieu of "welcome." If you send me an e-mail, I can reply with a copy of one of my edited uifiles for a particular logon. You can compare that to that logon's standard uifile. I think there are about 10 areas where editing needs to be done. A simple control F will locate all the required parts.
