Beginner needs a little assistance

I just got LogonStudio today, and I've been playing around with making the Logon screens.

This is what I have so far.



My 3 main problems are:

1. Name is not turning up in the font I want. 'Ernest' should be in the Japanese 'Arakawa' font. But it's not.
2. The user status (i.e. Administrator, Password Protected, etc) does not turn up most of the time, the only time it has is when I idled at the log on screen and mouseovered the user account bar a few times.
3. The placeholder for the user account image has a dark blue border, as you can see. I have edited the .bmp file so that the dark blue border is no more, but it still remains.

Please help me out!

Hi Japanese Arcade.....can hopefully help you out with (1) to get you started......

Open up the Theme.ini Notepad file of your logon (located C:\...Program Files...Wincustomize...Logon Studio..and your logon (in case you're not sure))...

On about the 25th line or so you will see:-
1=arial
2=tahoma
3=tahoma

Alter these fonts to the font you wish to use and save.....should show up then...

I'm sure boss will drop in later to help with 2 & 3, but in the meantime give this a go and see if it works.... 

(when you submit your logon to WC...don't forget to include a copy of the font you've used)

Woot! It worked! Thank you. I've found the solution to 3., but 2. is still a problem. I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be something out of my control though... but we'll see.

And I dunno if I'll upload it to WC; this is my very first Logon screen, and is totally customized to my style. But then again, why not? Thanks again.

Okay, I've altered it a little, and now it looks like:

As you can see, I have totally removed the top bar, and the bottom bar has been reduced. This is because in the first version the picture looked a little 'squashed'. I also changed my display picture to suit the theme.

What do you guys think? Would it look better with both bars, or without the squashed picture?

WinCustomize won't load for me when I try to submit stuff


nothing's working for me at WC at the moment....I'm only in the forum through Stardock.....give 'em a little time to sort it out...then try
