How do I get rid of Metaverse icons from my forum posts?

Hi...I gave up on this metaverse thing a quite a while ago. How do I get rid of the icons from my posts? I deleted all my scores but theyre still there. I seem to remember (from like a year ago) that there was an option to turn them off in your account management, but Ive been all through the labyrinthine menus, but dont see it.

If there is, could someone please give me a quick "click-map" on how to get there?

It doesn't appear there's anyway to 'unset' a default character once you've set one.

Well, the reason i want the icons removed is because theyre embarassing. Because I dont do Metaverse, my "e-peen" is out there for all to see, and its shriveled and flacid from the couple of lousy games I ever submitted. I believe in this case, "no" peen is preferable to e-peen. I want to be smooth and clean...like a Ken doll.


I dont want to post in your thread though as to why I dont play in the metaverse...you guys have a sort of thing going there, and I dont want to be that guy who just comes in and pollutes your thing. It wouldnt change anything anyways. So everyone should just do their own thing, and not have to show their peens

That's a healthy attitude.

One thing you can do is to create a new character with no games submitted and choose it as your default. You still may end up with the cakewalk medal but I'm not sure.

If you really want your game submissions removed, please contact Kryo by email and he will relay the request to the proper people. We can remove characters and/or scores. But its very rarely done.

BJ, I don't want to believe that people really care about that. But I'm afraid that they probably do. Your posts should stand on their own, and I've seen that your contributions are quite good. Trust me that most people, and the people who matter, don't care about your metaverse icons. There are people who make excellent posts and replies who have odd metaverse icons. Anyone with a brain will figure out that it's a fluke!
