In this game, I switched the ethical alignments to be the opposite and tried to win via a cultural domination without having to have a real military.

Thanks, Brad, for yet another peak at the awesome possibilities in the game. You can imagine how much all of us await the moment we can start playing it, but the release is close now.

In the screenshot for the Skowbo colony landing (new-6.jpg), by choosing the good option (not sacrificing the citizens), does that stop you from colonizing the planet, or do you simply get no bonuses?

Like someone else asked, why did the drengin not win an alliance victory?. I thought the A.I. is capable of going after different strategies like a human player, as well, such as cultural domination, and satisfy those victory conditions. Just curious.
