Just a suggestion...play a couple games on your metaverse character before trying to recruit for your empire. Otherwise, people may wonder if your going to just drop off the face of the earth tomorrow. Or maybe that's just meh =0

Yes, though its community that should matter most, score rules the current Meta. So many small empires have droped from existance because their emperor disappeared, or people stopped posting. If you do get some members though, and you stay active please consider looking at the Is There Anyone Out There? thread to help us better the Metaverse.

I know and I plan on it, the FWA is more to be a home to those who dont want to join a "Theme" empire. this is more of a Generic kind of thing, instead of referencing other science fictions and stuff.

Also I wish there was a different structure instead of Empire, i would more like a Presidency or something.

The way you conduct your empire is your bussiness. You can be a dictator or a benevolent monarch, its your choice.

Yes you can do set it up anyway you want. In the High Command Hegemony everyone is a senator. Still the emperor is the one that sets up and defines the empire so there's really no getting around it. I prefer to think of my emperor as an "enlightened despot" but I'm not quite sure how he feels about the term.   

Also as TheGreatEmperor (or as we call him, TGE for short) said keep an eye on the new metaverse council movement.

As a veteran of GCI, I can attest to not only this but stagnating empires losing members as well. Join us at The Galactic Core WWW Link for strategies, chat, and a ton of extra goodies. We have members from at least 6 different empires from both GCI and GCII.

As a community of fans of the game (regardless of empire affiliation, if any), we have formed friendships among our members that, literally, span oceans.

Anyone with a 15 letter name is bound to have it shortened one way or another. Particularly with three Caps scattered into it.   
It could be worse ones, we could have called you "The".

You can send emails to players that aren't in empires. This can be a good way to start. Also as someone mentioned posting a game or two yourself helps. Good luck.

hey agentexieder you out there, i am thinking about joining and was not sure if you were still active or not

also if you are active i probably have some friends from multiplayer games on other games that i play that would probably join as well if you are here and you are active, please respond ASAP, the sooner i can get into an empire i like the better, and the sooner i can bring other people along with me.

also how do you put that motto on your personal profile like that, i cant seem to find where i need to go to do that.

click on my account at the top of the screen, and go to personal information and put your motto in there.

and i have a question how do you get your awards to be displayed like the above players have, that is one that i cannot figure out.

The altmeta banner you get by finding your character in the altmeta. Under the details you will see the link to include.

thanx purge that did it, oh yeah and Exieder i am trying to get some quick games in to get the empires point totals up, maybe you should try the same, i think people will more readily join an empire when they know it is active than if people are just sitting there,

I want to join but I am new to the metaverse and dont know how.

Click on the link he provides at the top of the thread.

Then once your there, just click on the button that says 'join empire'. As long as this is an open empire youll get in.

But, make sure you have a character created.
