This morning the cold was back, it was nice a clear, and my entire run took place as the sun was SLOWLY rising on the horizon. However it was cold, and there was a none to pleasant wind, Bringing the wind-chill down to the 10's or so.
  I am convinced that the wind did not want me to over run today, because every time I would start to get a substantial lead on my virtual partner I would turn a corner into a freezing head wind. Once this happened while talking on a pretty steep hill. I at one point within about 400 meters I lost 200 feet off my lead. The only reason I finished faster then planed was that I put the hammer down the last .5mi.
  All is well, no pain of note and I am feeling pretty confident that tomorrows tempo run will go smoothly.
