Is there a value or some other way to quantify how valuable mining is to one’s economic ability?

The SBs add a % to your over all ability according to the type of mine. The first SB give 5% and you can add up to 6 more to give you a total of 39% total added to an ability. i f oyu look inthe stats and graph screen under abilities you will see what percentages you currently have.
