Stardock has launched PoliticalMachine.com. The new website is designed with the dual purpose of being the home page for Stardock''s upcoming strategy game, The Political Machine as well as a neutral political discussion/debate site for users interested in discussing politics, current events, etc.
The new site makes use of content from Stardock''s new JoeUser.com blog site (visit JoeUser.com to get your own free blog). Articles submitted under the category of "Politics" automatically gets syndicated to PoliticalMachine.com.
As for the strategy game, The Political Machine puts the player in the role of campaign manager. The player must put together a poltical campaign with the right presidential candidate in an effort to win the US presidential election. Players must raise money, take out ads, deal with the news media, give campaign speeches, and much more. The game world is based on the real world with an effort to be as accurate as possible. The game is both single player and multiplayer over the Internet. The release date is May 2004.
