Now, that long peace has come to an end as two threats converge together at once. The sins of each civilization now demanding a reckoning in blood and carnage. Sins that will lead to the annihilation of all but a single solar empire.

All the ol'timers have probably seen it, but there are lots of newcomers who don't know anything about it and I'm sure it will bring in some new faces Be sure to welcome to them...nicely! hehe (and be thankful for more multiplayer fodder -  but ssssh, I didn't say that! )

ive always wondered whether anyone with a voice above baritone will ever be allowed to play a compelling role as narrater in a space game... they always seem tough. has anyone noticed this?

I sure hope the sounds improve.The sounds in that trailer seem to have that generic WW2 explosion like CIV2 and other games used years ago..

Heh, this so-called new trailer has made me wonder: "How is SoaSE doing?" Well, it looks like everything is going okay. The deal with Stardock is good news.

August is still a long way off. Time to go back to lurk mode.
