Retail Box

I wasn't able to buy SR2 via totalgaming.net (I tried about 5 times...doh!), so I went out and bought the retail box.

Is there some way I can register with Stardock or Totalgaming.net so I have access to the download in case I lose the CD or whatever?

Nope, sorry. You can only download those games which are bought from TotalGaming.net (unless it's a Stardock product).

I expected a different question for this topic:

Is it possible to buy a box for SR2 through Stardock/totalgaming? I've been losing way too much sleep from this game so I think I'd like to have a box to display the source of my sleeplessness to friends

Sorry no, but you may still be able to find the retail box in stores. Be warned that the retail version includes StarForce copy protection.

The stardock version works well enough for me so I'd rather spend more money on stardock than on starforce.
