'We' spied on Princess Di? That's a surprise why?

Warning, Bubba reference coming

I know I'm gonna get accused of focusing on Bubba (as supposedly all conservatives do, at least according to common liberal mantra), but I just have to say that the idea that 'We' (the U.S.A., under the Clinton Administration) spied on Princess Diana should come as no surprise to anyone with half a brain.

Think about it people -- Bubba spying on Princess Di should be a natural thought... at least if you assume the spying was done because Bubba was secretly hoping to get in her pants/under her skirt.  :D

No story here.  It was a democrat administration so that means no accountability is required.

If he was trying to get into a 500 year old mummy's pants, nothing on 2 legs is safe!

Well, I suppose it is your country and your country's politics, so no surprise that you do the old partisan "it was the other lot wot done it" routine. But do you really think a republican administration would not have done this?

This is very timely story because just last night I was chatting to a friend and mentioned a claim by the US intelligence services that there are three 'friendly' nations in the world that they do not spy on, Australia, Canada and the UK. My friend just burst out laughing...
