Controlling Projects on a universal basis

Like the old version

Hi:

In the first version of GalCiv, I was able to - I think via the Gov page - pick which projects each planet was working on from one screen. I could choose the order that things were being built, and of course, what was being built. I don't see that option anymore. It seems I have to go to every planet to decide what's being built there. DOes the option still exist?

I never played GCI but this sounds like a great feature, but no this doesn't exist for GCII. I wonder why they got rid of it.

From the colonies list in the civilization manager you can manage the ship being built by double clicking on the starport which brings up the quick build screen without leaving the colonies list. But AFAIK you can't do the same for social production. Still I think it's worthwhile to do all this from the colonies list. You double click on each planet taking you to the planet screen and when you click done you're back in the colonies list to select the next planet.

Presumably they got rid of this because it matters which tile you build the improvement on (bonus tiles, for instance). Besides, I wouldn't want to build social projects blind anyway (ie without knowing what else was already on the planet).
