Sphere of influence

If at the very edge of your sphere of influence a planet exists whose grid square is 'cut in half' by the circle of the influence, is that planet included? I have had this situation several times when I am trying to get two planets into one sphere that are far apart.

yes it does, If the highlighted area paritally covers any square it recieves the bonus from the SB. There was a diagram posted a long while ago, by Mumblefratz, that showed the squared off version of the influence area.
