Bug: VS 2005 Group Boxes under WindowBlinds

Group boxes not displaying right

I don't know if this is a bug but I believe it could be. I do development using Visual Studio 2005. When I have WindowBlinds active (and any WindowBlinds skin running) the text for Group Boxes under VS 2005 do not display right. As per the image below:

As you can see, what happens is that the text of the group box is slightly below the group box border, and the border goes through the text. On a normal groupbox, the text would appear inside the group box border, and the border (i.e. line) would stop at the text start, and begin again at the end of the text (i.e. would NOT appear in the text).

Note also that this is NOT just with the Visual Studio 2005 IDE - even if I compile and run the actual application that was created in VS 2005 (i.e. VB.NET) that applications group box also displays screwy. So it must be something in the way that WindowBlinds is handling .NET 2.0 Framework controls (specifically the group box).

This has occurred in ALL versions of WindowBlinds, including the new beta version. I know it is WindowBlinds specific, because if I switch to a normal XP theme, then the group box text displays normally as it should.

This is really aggravating, and because I use VS 2005 every day (programmer is my occupation) I basically can't use WindowBlinds (it just looks too wierd). Any ideas as to how to fix this? Or what the issue is?

Duplicate post? the other one

Go here https://www.stardock.helpserve.com with your VS version and version of WB. Upload any screenshots you have.

Your problem will go to the support queue instead of the community forum here. You'll be sure that it's seen and can track it's progress.

Have you added VS to the per application exclusion list, while you wait on Support?

Yep, I tried that, but again it doesn't seem to help at all. Only by going back to the plain XP theme does the problem go away.

Just loaded WB5 the other day and same issue with group boxes. Also you will note that when clicking on objects such as text boxes and such (in design mode) that the markey(outline around object) is not centered and causes the object to move from the original position.

See reply #1; second line.

Also, while we're here, post the system info from the WB config. There might be a problem that is can help identify.
